Circle BMW

Set against the backdrop of the Alps, nestled between the rolling hills and quaint villages of the Bavarian countryside, roamed a fleet of fuel-injected behemoths otherwise known as the new BMW 7 series sedans. While the most technologically advanced BMW yet was an odd dichotomy to the antiquated, old world architecture and simple agrarian culture of lower Bavaria, there was never a doubt that the new 7 was born to venture this land. BMW 7 Series Lineup It conquered narrow, winding roads with ease. The new twin-turbo V8 and its 400 horses purred as it muscled past slower traffic, from horse-drawn carriages to Mercedes sedans. The mastery of German engineering was felt with every touch of the pedal. As Prince Leopold II said himself, “It is a car that has everything.” As a member of the Bavarian royal family by night and famous Formula 1 racecar driver by day, he should know. It is a car elegant enough to appeal to his royal taste, yet powerful enough to quell his endless need for speed.

The exterior design is bold and beautiful, with every square inch beckoning a lustful gaze. Every piece of the exterior fits together creating a brilliant symmetry. When entering the vehicle, ones’ eyes are immediately drawn to the brilliant, high definition monitor housing the all-new iDrive programming system. As intuitive and easy to operate as any web browser, the new iDrive will promise ease of use no matter your technological skills. The rest of the cozy interior is completed with the finest Dakota leathers and maple woods.

The greatest part of the new 7 is – as always is with BMW – the drive. While BMW has always offered the “ultimate driving experience,” it has somehow managed to offer not just one, but four ultimate driving experiences. Situated ergonomically next to the shifter, which has returned to the center console, the driver may choose four different driving styles – comfort, normal, sport, and sport plus. I toggled through each on the drive and each was noticeably different, yet equally satisfying. While on wider, longer roads with minimal steering required, comfort pleases the senses (and the passengers). When we hit the hills at the foot of the Alps, sport mode stiffened the suspension so the car could respond quickly and efficiently to the sharp, unexpected turns we encountered.

Other innovations include the addition of a hard drive, 12 GB of which can be used for personal storage of audio, allowing you to create your own music collection for your car. Songs can be uploaded directly from an iPod, eliminating the need to constantly transport and load CD’s or other audio devices. Secondly, the new 7 has an optional speed sensitive rear wheel steering package, which allows for the rotation of all four wheels while turning. This innovation requires no adjustment, and has a tremendous impact, giving the driver the illusion that he is actually behind the wheel of a much smaller vehicle, improving the handling and feel of the drive.

The features and options on the new 7 are innumerable, so please contact our Sales team for further information. The official launch date is scheduled for March 6th. So please do yourself a favor – come to Circle BMW to test drive the new 7: no words could ever capture the beauty of the world’s Ultimate Driving Machine.
